Message from the VP of Recruitment

Welcome to the University of Virginia! Speaking on behalf of DSC_2914the Panhellenic Community, we are all so excited that you have chosen to spend the next four years at UVa. You will soon come to learn about all of the opportunities here at the university, and begin to make UVa your home. Joining a Greek organization is just one way to get involved.

Being a part of sorority life at UVA is a unique experience. Our members are a part of a 2200 person wide network that supports, uplifts, and challenges one another. We can be seen throughout the community donating service hours, raising money for philanthropies, succeeding in the classroom, and serving as leaders around grounds. But our network doesn’t end at graduation. The connections and friendships we make carry with us throughout our lifetime and around the world.

Being part of this organization has shaped my life, and made me a better student, public servant, leader, and most importantly, friend. One way you can become involved with the ISC is by attending ISC information sessions throughout the fall and participating in Formal Recruitment in January. I am confident that being a member of the ISC will positively impact your next four years at UVa as it did mine.

Sincerely,

Emily Votroubek
